AVN brings with it 80 years of reputation in providing Ayurvedic solutions to a number of chronic ailments, integrating Ayurveda with modern multi-disciplinary medical care. AVN Centre for developmental neurology is designed to offer this integrated medical care to children with developmental problems.
Headed by a pediatrician specially qualified in Developmental Neurology, AVN-CDN is designed to be a tertiary care centre for children with Neuro Developmental disabilities like Cerebral palsy, Autism, ADHD, Specific disabilities, Learning disabilities etc.
The New Centre will offer a unique integrated approach comprising of Ayurveda, Yoga and Allopathic medicine with the following services:
1. Neuro-developmental therapy / physiotherapy services intended for optimizing Neuro-development in children with Cerebral Palsy and or all forms of spasticity and developmental delay.
2. Occupational therapy including Sensory integration techniques for Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
3. Diagnosis, Evaluation and Intervention in Cerebral Palsy and other Developmental Delays.
4. Hearing screening using state-of-the-art OAE/PTA/Speech therapy services.
5. Resource centre and Support class rooms for Learning Disability.
